Shaken & Starred

When ordering a Martini cocktail you usually get asked if you’d like it ‘shaken’ or ‘stirred’. But why not have both? With our ‘Shaken & Starred’, we shake our Star of Bombay along with quality cubed ice & Bergamot Liqueur then stir in the MARTINI Rosato Vermouth afterwards to create the perfect dilution for the cocktail.

Ingredients

  • 50ml Star of Bombay
  • 10ml Edmond Briotett Bergamot Liqueur
  • 15ml MARTINI Rosato Vermouth
  • 1 mint leaf

  • ‘Nick & Nora’ glass (like a small wine glass or small coupette with straight sides)
  • Long twisted bar spoon
  • Boston cocktail shaker
  • Hawthorne strainer
  • Measuring device

Method

Step

1

Pour the Star of Bombay & bergamot liqueur into a Boston cocktail shaker & briefly swirl to mix

Step

Fully fill the shaker with good quality cubed ice & shake the ingredients together for around 10 seconds

Now add the MARTINI Rosato & stir the cocktail for around 15 seconds

Using a Hawthorne strainer only, pour the mixture into a pre-chilled ‘Nick & Nora’ glass containing a freshly awoken mint leaf
